Introduction:

The Industry Institute Cell (IIC) is established at Asian Business School (ABS) in accordance with the guidelines provided by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The primary objective of the IIC is to foster collaboration between academia and industry, facilitate industry exposure for students, and promote research and innovation through industry partnerships.

Objectives:

The objectives of the Industry Institute Cell are as follows:

  • To facilitate interaction between the institute and industries to understand their requirements and trends.
  • To promote internships, industrial visits, and training programs for students to gain practical exposure.
  • To organize seminars, workshops, and conferences with industry experts to enhance the knowledge and skills of students and faculty.
  • To establish a platform for technology transfer, consultancy, and entrepreneurship development.

Activities:

The Industry Institute Cell will undertake the following activities:

  • Organizing industry visits, guest lectures, and seminars on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Facilitating internships, industrial training, and placements for students in reputed companies.
  • Establishing MoUs and collaborations with industries for research, consultancy, and skill development programs.
  • Encouraging industry-sponsored projects and providing support for technology transfer and commercialization.
  • Conducting entrepreneurship development programs and innovation challenges to nurture entrepreneurial skills among students.
