Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd on 2nd November 2017
Asian As a part of its endeavour to help the students gain latest first hand information regarding functioning of the Industry and engaging them in active learning experiences outside the classroom, Corporate Resource Cell of Asian Business School organised an Industrial Visit for its PGDM – I Year students to Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd on 2 November 2017.
Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Yakult Honsha, Japan and Groupe Danone, France, both of whom are global leaders in Probiotics. In India, Yakult is manufactured at an ISO 9001:2008, HACCP and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified manufacturing facility in Industrial township of Sonepat, Haryana.
The visit started with a presentation by the company personnel in form of a brief introduction about the origin of probiotics, brief about the Company, its distribution network in India and current position on the global platform.
Students were taken for a factory visit and every step in the process of manufacturing of the probiotic health drink, Yakult, starting with germination of the Lactobacillus Casei strain Shirota (LcS) bacteria, enlarging it to the desired production levels, role of Quality Control department, packing of the final product were explained to the students. All the queries of students were answered by the company guides.
Students participated with enough zeal to make the visit pretty much interactive, meanwhile gaining decent knowledge about Production, Quality Control, Marketing and Operations regarding functioning of the Company
PGDM Students @ Coca Cola Industrial Visit On 19th August 2017
Asian Education Group has been organizing Industrial Excursions for the up gradation of the students. The institute believes in the giving the best corporate exposure to the students by means of first hand information.On 19th August, 2017 our Asian Business School students visited Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited at Dasna. The visit gave a Bird’s eye view of manufacturing of Coke and its brands. During the visit, students were explained about the safety and BMP (Best Manufacturing Practices). Dasna’s manufacturing unit is the second largest manufacturing unit of coke in the world.” The PGDM students immensely enjoyed this visit as it is said that pragmatic exposure is the best way of learning.

Asianites @ Liberty Industrial Visit, 10th August 2017
Asian Business School has been organizing Industrial visits to various premier companies. Recently the students of PGDM (17-19) Batch visited the renowned footwear company- Liberty.
Through this visit the students were able to get a first-hand experience of functioning of manufacturing enterprise. Various departments that they visited include -Raw materials and Procurement, Storage and Designing. The company representative explained the process flow to the students.
This industrial visit gave a clear understanding to the upcoming managers who were quite enthusiastic about this visit. Overall, it was a great beyond the classroom learning experience for students who learnt about the functioning of various departments.
Industrial Visit @ Whirlpool
Asian Business School organized industrial visit to the renounced company “Whirlpool” situated at Faridabad. The students of PGDM (16-18) Batch were taken to the company and they were accorded a warm welcome. They were briefed about the set up of the organization. They were made aware how the various departments worked in perfect co ordination.
Students got the opportunity to see the entire process from manufacturing of single door refrigerator to the packaging. This industrial visit was a good exposure for the students. Question answer round was cherry on the cake as the students asked questions covering all aspects of marketing, branding to administrative point of view.

ASIANITES @BISLERI INTERNATIONAL PVT LIMITED | 15th November, 2016
Asian Education Group had organized an industrial visit to Bisleri International Pvt Limited recently. The students of PGDM (16-18) batch had been taken to the industrial excursion. The students attended the company presentation and they were made to see the different parts of the plant. The students understood the working of different departments of the company.The students were really enlightened about the functionality of an international company and they found this trip very interesting.

Asian Education Group had organized an industrial visit to JCB India, Faridabad. The students of PGDM (16-18) batch had been taken to the industrial excursion. The students attended the company presentation and they were made to see the different parts of the plant. J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited, universally known as JCB, is a British multinational corporation, with headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire, manufacturing equipment for construction, agriculture, waste handling and demolition. It is the world’s third-largest construction equipment manufacturer.

Asian Education Group organized Industrial Visit to MoserBaer India Limited, Greater Noida for the PGDM (15-17) batch. This visit aimed to update the students about the various channels of production and distribution in the company. The students were shown a company presentation.

Asian Education Group organized a visit of the students of PGDM (16-18) batch to SEBI Corporate Office. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India, the students were given company presentation by the senior official. They were taken for the company office visit and later they had Question answer round.
The Preamble of the Securities and Exchange Board of India describes the basic functions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India as “…to protect the interests of investors in securities and to promote the development of, and to regulate the securities market and for matters connected there with or incidental there to”.
Asianites had a lot to learn from this visit and they were updated on a number of matters handled by the SEBI.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT @ SONA KOYO STEERINGS LTD | 5th Jan, 2017
Asian Education Group organized an industrial visit for the students of PGDM /(16-18) batch. Our institution believes in broadening the horizons of the students. Aligning with this thought process an industrial visit was organized at Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd.
Sona Koyo’s customers include major vehicle manufactures in India such as Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, General Motors and Ford. Independently, as well as through its network of overseas joint-venture partners, it exports high quality precision products to USA, Europe and Japan.
The students got an opportunity to understand the functioning of this company and they appreciated the work ethics being practiced by the company.

Asian Education Group organized an industrial visit to NSIC. The students of PGDM (16-18) batch attended a workshop conducted by NSIC on 3rd February, 2017.National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), is a Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).NSIC operates through countrywide network of offices and Technical Centres in the Country.
Asianites learned a lot from this workshop which was meant for “Incubators’ where they were made aware about various plants. The students understood about the different departments and how NSIC lends its expertise along with finances to various small scale industries.

Industrial Visit @ Relaxo Industries | 26th August, 2016
Asian Business School, Noida organized Industrial visit to Relaxo Industries. The students of PGDM 2nd year went to the site at Bahadur Garh, Haryana. The group was divided into two batches and they were taken separately for the entire visit of plant.The students learned the entire process of manufacturing Relaxo Footwears as well as their quality control policies and methods. A memento was also presented to Mr. Raj Kumar Gill – Sr. Manager -P&A (HR)

Asian Education Group organized an industrial visit for the newly inducted students of BBA (16-19) batch. They were taken to Yakult Danone Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat. The students got an opportunity to get corporate exposure by the means of industrial visit. Such visits make the young and budding managers broaden their understanding with respect of corporate functioning.
Danone India Pvt. Ltd. manufactures and sells probiotic products. The company offers a probiotic health drink, which is a fermented milk drink and functional food that contains beneficial bacteria for various age groups, including children and pregnant women. It offers its products through a network of supermarkets, high volume retailers, bakeries, chemists, hospitals, office canteens, and small retailers in India.
Asianites were enthusiastic about this visit and got firsthand knowledge how various channels work in synergy to produce a brand.
Mother Dairy Plant | 11th April, 2016, Monday
Asian Education Group conducted the industrial visit on 11-4-16; the students visited Mother Dairy Plant, Parparganj, New Delhi. Students were extended a warm welcome by the experienced member of the Mother Dairy. She showed the operations that were done in the plant, which happens to be the biggest plant in Asia as well.
Students were shown a video about how Mother Dairy came into existence and its contribution in the white revolution. They also came across the four important stages adopted by mother dairy to ensure quality milk such as – clarification, homogenization, pasteurization and standardization.
Asianites were engaged in the interactive session wherein they got an opportunity to learn about the operations, marketing and distribution strategies adopted by Mother Dairy. They got an insight view of the process of ice-cream production. They also learnt about the of the tankers and how they are weighed and tested at the time of arrival and departure. They enjoyed this excursion and were updated on a number of issues related to dairy products.
Luminous Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd
Asianites have reached Industrial plant of Luminous Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Baddi, District Solan. They are on their educational excursion for two days. This industrial visit will broaden their understanding of the manufacturing, packaging and distribution channels of the company. This industrial visit will enhance their appreciation of pragmatic aspect about the functioning of this plant.

The visit was scheduled on 31st July and 26th October, 2015 organized for the batch of PGDM 2015-17.

Honda Cars Pvt. Ltd.
As a part of the Orientation Programme, 50 students of PGDM 2014-16 Batch of ABS were taken for an Industrial Visit to Honda Cars India Ltd., Greater Noida, on 18th July, 2014.
Honda cars, one of the well known & leaders in car manufacturing offered an excellent opportunity to ABS students to experience the assembly line of ‘Amaze Car’ at their Greater Noida plant. HCIL’s first manufacturing unit was set up at Greater Noida, U.P in 1997. This plant is the culmination of the best manufacturing know-how and practices gathered from Honda’s global operations. The Honda Group is globally recognized for its concern onwards environment, safety and conservation of the society in which it operates.
At first the students were shown a video which showcased the entire history of HONDA CARS, included, the day it begun, challenges faced by the company, leanings and finally beating the competition up and today leading the market and standing at the 4th position.
It was a life time experience for the students for the very first time they were given the opportunity to understand and visualize the entire assembling & manufacturing unit of a car.

Relaxo Footwear Limited
In meeting its objective to impart Industry exposure to its students, Asian Business School organized an Industrial visit to the plant of Relaxo Footwear Limited, Bahadurgarh on 18th July 2014. The bus carrying 38 students from PGDM III and two faculty members started at 8.30 in the morning for the production Unit of Relaxo. On our arrival we were welcomed by Senior General Manager and his team members. After a formal introduction and exchanging pleasantries the entire student group was divided into two sub groups for the plant visit.
Both the groups were guided by the members of the Administration team at Relaxo. The students began their visit of the footwear plant and witnessed the entire process of production starting from the raw material required, production process and packaging. We were told that the plant has a production capacity of around one lakh pairs of footwear daily. The plant produces brands like Sparx, Flite and School mate. The students were amazed to see the amount of hard work and man power that is required to produce the final product.
After the visit to the plant that lasted for about an hour the students were treated with some refreshment and a session was organized by the company to answer their questions and clear their doubts. Many pertinent questions were asked by the students to which they were satisfactorily responded. The session was followed by a group photograph of the students along with the company officials. After that we decided to take leave and started our journey back to our institute. In this way the trip to Relaxo ended on a very positive note.
The factory coordinators appreciated the Q & A session and were much impressed by the enthusiasm of ABS students. Parle Products Pvt. Ltd.
On 18th July 2014, 47 students of Asian Business School accompanied by two faculty members went for an industrial visit at Parle India Ltd., Bhahadurgarh Branch, it is one of the mother production houses in India. The key assembly line consisted of Parle-G biscuits, Parle Monaco, Krack-Jack & Full Toss. The HR manager Ms. Pallavi gave a very warm welcome to all the Asianites. To more add-on the the production process of Parle is divided into twelve steps. The assembly line was explained to the students during the plant visit. The quality parameters were as per the international standards. Most of the revenue of Parle comes from the foreign markets as conveyed by the HR. The students also learned the concept of material planning, grading and sorting. The role of the CAD/CAM machines were also explained the students. They were also explained about the recycling process of the rejected packets. How they are blended with the next batch of production. It was quite an extraordinary learning experience for the students. At the same time we like to thank the Asian Business School CRC department and the management for organizing such a wonderful visit.

Honda Cars India Ltd., (HCIL) is a leading manufacturer of premium cars in India. The company was established in 1995 with a commitment to provide Honda‟s latest passenger car models and technologies to the Indian customers. The company as a subsidiary of Honda Motors Co. Ltd., Japan.
HCIL‟s first manufacturing unit was set up at Greater Noida, U.P in 1997. The green field project is spread across 150 acres and has an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. HCIL’s second plant in Tapukara is the first car manufacturing plant in the state of Rajasthan. Relaxo Footwear Ltd – Industrial visit | 29th June 2013
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Such is the story behind the creation and flourishing of Relaxo Footwear, the company that has established itself as one of the most stalwart, quality conscious and avant-garde footwear companies in the Indian economy today. Headquartered in New Delhi, India, it maintains a fine combination of comfort, style, and workmanship and is embarking upon appreciable growth plans for the future. The company began as a small enterprise in the year 1976 and was officially incorporated in 1984 and further went into public listing in 1995. According to the 2008 Business Survey, it has now emerged as the second largest footwear producer
Relaxo Footwear commenced its journey with the manufacture of Hawaii slippers. It has now grown into a large-scale entrepreneurship catering to the basic needs of the quintessential Indian citizen. From a modest sale figure of Rs. 1 million in 1977 to more than Rs. 8700 million last year; the company has experienced a record-breaking growth since inception. Today, the company manufactures over 3 lakh pairs of footwear per day, which approximately adds up to over 10 million pairs per year. Each pair is given thorough attention by the dedicated and skilled employees working at the 9 state-of-the-art manufacturing units in Northern India. Mother Dairy was set up in 1974 under the Operation Flood Programme. A wholly owned company of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Mother Dairy manufactures, markets & sells milk and milk products under the Mother Dairy brand (Milk, Cultured Products, Ice Creams, Paneer and Ghee), Dhara range of edible oils, Safal range of fresh Fruit & vegetables, Frozen Vegetables, Processed Fruit & Vegetable Products, Fruit Pulps & Concentrates in bulk aseptic packaging and fruit juices at a national level through its sales and distribution networks for marketing food items.

About Company (PCRA Delhi)
The Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) is an organization established in 1978, under the aegis of the Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, engaged in promoting energy efficiency in various sectors of the economy. It helps the government in proposing policies and strategies aimed at reducing India’s dependency on oil, in order both to save money and to reduce the environmental impact of oil use.
The PCRA is mandated to promote popular awareness of the importance of energy conservation. It cites an international acceptance that energy efficiency measures, like turning off car engines at traffic signals and driving at speeds of 45–50 km/h, could help most countries to reduce their use of petroleum products by 20%. The PCRA promotes a nationwide mass media awareness campaign titled “Save Fuel Yaani Save Money”, broadcast on television, radio, and in newspapers. The campaign mascot, Yaani, is a piggy bank, representing saving. The PCRA took the campaign to IITF – 09, an international trade show, where the PCRA stall featured interactive games and quizzes to promote energy efficiency.
PCRA is a government of India promoted organization. PCRA has been engaged in generating mass awareness among masses for judicious use of petroleum products.

About Company (Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd)
Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd is a 50:50 JV between Yakult Honsha, Japan and Groupe Danone of France, both of which are global probiotic leaders. The JV was formed in 2005 to manufacture and sell probiotic products in the Indian market. Yakult, a probiotic drink was launched in India in 2007, and is presently available in Delhi, NCR, Nasik, Chandigarh, Punjab, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore. A workshop for PGDM 2012-14 on Financial studies was conducted by SEBI. This workshop covered the basics and essentials of financial markets including do and don’t of investment. The purpose of workshop was to equip the students with the essentials of investment and inculcate regular saving habit. The workshop was conducted by SEBI Certified Education Trainer.
