International Conference ABSIC 2024

Asian Business School held its highly-vetted 12th International Conference on “Innovative Strategies for Sustainable Development: Integrating Economic Growth and Environmental Responsibility” in collaboration with ICT ACADEMY as Knowledge Partner on 22nd & 23rd November 2024, Friday – Saturday in Noida, India with great success. The event was smoothly coordinated by the Research & Development (R&D) Cell of Asian Business School that operates with the mission to become a centre of excellence in management education by focused research pursuits, through an interface with industry and academia. Dr. Swati Bhatia, Head R&D cell and R&D members Ms. Bushra Majaz, Dr. Aarti Gupta welcomed all the participants in the international conference.

The prime focus of the conference is to explore the critical balance between driving economic growth and ensuring environmental sustainability in a rapidly changing world. As organizations, industries, and governments navigate the complexities of the 21st century, the need for innovative strategies that harmonize development with ecological responsibility has never been greater. The conference served as a platform wherein thought leaders, researchers, academicians, policymakers, and practitioners shared insights, discussed challenges, and proposed solutions that advance sustainable practices across various management disciplines. Welcome introduction of dignitaries present on and off the dais marked the beginning of the ‘Inaugural Ceremony’ of the conference. Dr. Shweta Batra, Dean, Asian Business School welcomed the dignitaries with her welcome address and also set the tone of the conference with a brief introduction of the topic. This was followed by the Inaugural Address by Dr. Swati Bhatia, Head Research & Development Cell, Asian Business School. Mr. Mangal Dev, Head of Hitachi Railway Systems Business – India and South Asia; Director Hitachi India Pvt Ltd., Mentor Board Member Aerospace Infrastructure Transport Railway EV Auto Energy Water Digital South Asia and Ms. Ayushi Jain Gupta – Managing Director, RFM AUTOMOTIVES PVT LTD. (NORA) were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor respectively at the inaugural ceremony of the conference who shared their valuable thoughts on sustainability. The formal release of the ‘Conference Souvenir’ was also a part of this session. This was followed by a Plenary session wherein the eminent keynote speakers Dr. Sudhir Gaur Associate Vice President, Vserve Info systems Pvt. ltd. and Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Lead: AI Research Team, Yamaha Motor Solution India Pvt. Ltd. talked about strategies that transcend disciplines, industries, and geographies. From sustainable corporate governance to green human resource management, from leveraging technology for environmental stewardship to sustainable finance, toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There were 76 teams worldwide with 145 registrations. 5 Technical Sessions’ on 22nd and 23rd November 2024.
