International Conference ABSIC 2024

Asian Business School organized its 12th International Conference on “Innovative Strategies for Sustainable Development: Integrating Economic Growth and Environmental Responsibility” in Noida, India, on November 22–23, 2024. The Asian Business School Research & Development (R&D) Cell, aspiring to establish itself as a management education hub via focused research and industry-academia partnerships, effectively managed the event.

The conference analyzes the intricate equilibrium between economic development and environmental sustainability in a swiftly evolving global landscape. There is an urgent need for innovative ways that harmonize development with environmental stewardship as enterprises, industries, and governments traverse the 21st century. This conference together thought leaders, researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to examine challenges and provide solutions for advancing sustainable management practices across several disciplines. The event fostered interdisciplinary collaboration and practical applications to motivate sustainable and resilient strategies. The conference’s “Inaugural Ceremony” commenced with an introduction of distinguished individuals both on and off the dais. Dr. Shweta Batra, Dean of Asian Business School, welcomed dignitaries and presented the conference subject. Subsequently, Dr. Swati Bhatia, Head of the Research & Development Cell at Asian Business School, delivered the Inaugural Address.

During the conference’s inaugural ceremony, Chief Guest and Guest of Honor Mr. Mangal Dev, Head of Hitachi Railway Systems Business – India and South Asia;Mentor Board Member Aerospace Infrastructure Transport Railway EV Auto Energy Water Digital South Asia and Ms. Ayushi Jain Gupta – Managing Director, RFM AUTOMOTIVES PVT LTD. (NORA) were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor respectively at the inaugural ceremony of conference who shared their valuable thoughts on sustainability. This session featured the formal delivery of the Conference Souvenir.The Plenary session included keynote addresses from Dr. Sudhir Gaur, Associate Vice President of Vserve Info Systems Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Lead of the AI Research Team of Yamaha Motor Solution India Pvt. Ltd., who discussed interdisciplinary, industrial, and regional initiatives. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) may be attained by sustainable corporate governance, eco-friendly human resource management, technology for environmental stewardship, and sustainable financing.

Globally, 76 teams enrolled for 145 and 5 Technical Sessions conducted on November 22 and 23, 2024 respectively.
