The “Inaugural Ceremony” of the PGDM Orientation 2023-25 Batch was organised by Asian Business School, Noida, on the 19th of July, 2023, with much passion and fervour. The event spanned a duration of one week, commencing on July 19th and concluding on July 24th. The incoming cohort of PGDM students were warmly greeted upon their arrival by the institute, receiving a formal kit and participating in a ceremonial event known as the piping ceremony conducted by the seniors.
The commencement of the Inaugural session began with the ceremonial act of illuminating the lamp, which was afterwards succeeded by a welcoming discourse presented by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the esteemed Chairman of Asian Education Group. The Inaugural Session was graced by General (Dr.) V.K. Singh (Retd.), the Honourable Union Minister of State, as the Chief Guest. The occasion was also graced by Mr. Angelo George, CEO of Bisleri International Pvt Ltd.
In the Inaugural address delivered by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, provided insights to the students regarding the process of transitioning from a focus on earning to a focus on learning. Dr. Marwah delivered an inspiring and captivating speech elucidating the concept of “EDUCATION” to the students. The remarks made by Dr. Marwah acquainted the students with the significance of setting goals, objectives, and values in one’s life. Sir also emphasised on the need of maintaining academic integrity inside the institute.
Subsequently, General (Dr.) V.K. Singh, the esteemed Chief Guest of the Inaugural session, delivered an inspiring address to the students, emphasising the importance of continuous learning and imparting vital insights for their future growth and development. Furthermore, General (Dr.) V.K. Singh expressed admiration for the visionary efforts of Dr. Sandeep Marwah in establishing a lasting educational legacy.
The esteemed Guest of Honour, Mr. Angelo, provided guidance to the students regarding their individual inclinations and the necessary skills they can acquire to become industry-ready.
The sequence of events was accompanied by an Oath Ceremony chaired by Dr. Shweta Batra, during which the students made a commitment to adhere to the established code of conduct of the Institution. The Chairman of Asian Education Group (AEG), Dr. Sandeep Marwah, felicitated the Guest of Honour and the Chief Guest with a Shawl and Memento. This was followed by a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Ravi Sharma, the Dean-CRC of Asian Education Group (AEG).
The second half of the day witnessed a powerful session by Mr. Sonu Sharma, an author, educator, and business consultant. Mr. Sonu instilled the students with great enthusiasm and zeal, while also imparting knowledge on corporate etiquette and character.
