Day 3rd of the orientation program started with a CAMPUS CONNECT wherein Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Business School acquainted the students with the Institution’s code of conduct and anticipations. Students were excited to know about the systems and procedures which will add value to their skill sets. All the faculties were then got introduced to the students who will be part of their 2years journey at ABS. Dean Academics & Examinations, Dean CRC, Dean DSW, Heads of various departments and faculty members interacted with the students. There was a lot for the students to take it with them as nuggets of life lessons.
In the second half of the day an impactful Alumni Talk Series was organized. The Guest of Honour was the proud Alumni of ABS Mr. Sayantan Das Gupta, PGDM Batch:2014-16, Sr. Director-Demand Generation, GRAMENER and Ms. Sargun Goolry, PGDM Batch: 2014-16, Business Head-India, MADHAWKS. Ms. Sargun Goolry shared her journey in the campus and the learnings that was imbibed from the Institution. She accentuated the importance of self-creativity and a learning attitude for success. She also emphasized on the participation of students in various events and activities which she believes has made her more confident and helped her in grooming and developing the way she is today.
Mr. Sayantan stressed upon three parameters for accomplishment i.e. ‘reflect’, ‘introspect’ and ‘radiate’. He quoted ‘Time-Management’ as the key mantra for consistent performance. The students gained insight into the relevance of concepts like Brand Equity, Networking and smart work in today’s competitive environment. Proceeding to the session, A Question and Answer Round was conducted for a candid discussion with the students. The students felt motivated and exhilarated to receive such words of wisdom from their Alumni.
In the end, a Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Shweta Batra, Dean, Academics and Mr. Ravi Sharma, Dean, CRC Department, followed by a felicitation of the Alumni with Shawl and Memento.
