In India today, PGDM happens to be very popular and high in demand course. There are several colleges that offer this course and they have majorly centred around big cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, etc. Although aspiring students may select a college as per their choice, there are three very important things that they must check before they finally zero in on a particular institute offering a PGDM course:
The first is that, whether the particular college/institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India – which is a statutory body and a national-level council for technical education under the Department of Higher Education that is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India.
Secondly, whether the particular college/institute is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) – which is one of the two major bodies responsible for the accreditation of higher education institutions in India, along with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – whereby the programme in an approved Institution is critically appraised to verify that the Institution or the programme continues to meet and/or exceed the Norms and Standards prescribed by the regulator from time to time.
And, thirdly, whether the particular college/institute is also affiliated to Association of Indian Universities (AIU) – which is primarily an apex organization and association of major universities in India that evaluates the courses, syllabi, standards, and credits of programs like PGDM and the programs of foreign universities being pursued abroad and equates them in respect to various courses being offered by Indian universities – whereby the PGDM programme offered there is granted the equivalent status of MBA Degree of an Indian University.
PGDM @ ABS
On all these counts, Asian Business School (ABS), Noida – which is a part of Asian Education Group and is ranked as one of the top PGDM colleges in Delhi NCR – stands tall in compliance. In other words, the institute is duly approved by AICTE and its flagship PGDM program offered here is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and granted equivalence to the MBA Degree of an Indian University by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
But that is not all!
The institute flaunts international tie-ups with renowned international institutions of higher learning like Oxford Business College, Oxford-London (U.K.) which are partnering with ABS for providing globally recognized management education.
