Asian Business School warmly welcomes PGDM 2015-17 to the most significant phase of their academic journey. For many, it’s the journey which will help them climb the ladder to the corporate world.
The day began with the students collecting their registration kit and eagerly awaiting to hear from the industry stalwarts who were gracing the occasion with their presence.
The beginning of the Orientation program was marked with the lighting of the lamp and the welcome address by Dr. Lalitya Srivastava – Director Academics. He welcomed the keen and enthusiastic students to the beginning of their academic and transformational journey wherein they will learn how to become professionals and future managers in the industry.
The central hall was abuzz with excitement as Mr. Sandeep Marwah – Founder and Chairman – Asian Education Group, welcomed the students on the commencement of their academic journey. He stated that their attitude, interest and willingness to learn, make some sacrifices, work diligently and create the best use of the resources that the institute has to offer in spite of all the constraints and limitations will lead them towards success.
Dr. Deepak Singh – Director – HR, KPMG India addressed the students giving them an insight on what one needs to do in order to be successful in the industry. He elaborated that one needs to be willing to put in a lot of hard work coupled with constant knowledge enhancement in order to handle to challenges the industry brings. He also mentioned that student life is a voyage of discovery and of creating and sharing knowledge. It is a period of intellectual excitement, of joyous friendships and the warmth of a life-long relationship between the teachers and taught. All students should benefit from this unique experience and should make the most of it.
Mr. G. P. Rao – Advisor & CEO, GPR Consulting then addressed the students enlightening them on the possibilities and opportunities that were available in the past and what would be available in the future. He urged the students to understand the need to constantly improvise and gain knowledge and work together in a team in order to succeed. His energetic interaction with the students left the students feeling motivated and raring to go.
Ms. Kriti Sisodia – Senior Journalist – Zee TV also extended a very heartfelt and warm welcome to the students and wished them the best for their academic journey.
The students were then led into the Oath taking ceremony by Dr. Deepak Singh.
