On May 4th, 2024, Asian Business School hosted the highly anticipated Mega event, The Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year 2024. This event was a celebration of innovation, resilience, and the entrepreneurial spirit, bringing together students from PGDM Batch 22 & 23 to showcase their ventures and compete for the prestigious title.
Aishwarya Biswas, the esteemed Director of Auli Ayurveda, graced the occasion as the judge for the event. With her wealth of experience in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, she provided invaluable insights and expertise to the proceedings. Additionally, the Directors of Asian Business School were in attendance to witness the event and provide motivation to the students participating in the Finale.
The event witnessed the participation of a diverse array of aspiring entrepreneurs, each presenting their unique vision and business ideas. Notable finalists included Keshav Somani, Jasmine Sa, Vaishnavi Gupta, Utkarsh, and Pragya Singh. After thorough deliberation and scrutiny of each finalist’s business proposition, Keshav Somani emerged as the victor, securing a seed fund of Rs 5 lakhs for his innovative venture. His idea demonstrated exceptional potential for growth and impact, earning him the esteemed title of Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
Keshav’s Business Plan was about Transforming Pet Care with the Petokare – Petokare is a revolutionary pet care service dedicated to enhancing the well-being and happiness of pets and their owners. Comprehensive range of services includes pet grooming, boarding, training, and healthcare, all under one roof. With a focus on quality, convenience, and compassion, Petokare aims to become the go-to destination for pet owners seeking top-notch care for their beloved companions. He has elaborated all the important aspects of Business Plan including Financials, Marketing, Pet Care Services, projected revenue etc, which really has impressed the Judge of the event.
Keshav was enthralled with result announcement and all the other participants were also very happy, as being in the top finalist out of 180 participants, is itself a big achievement.
