The Road Not Taken – National Level Business Plan Competition

The EDIC Cell of Asian Business School hosted the national-level business plan competition titled ‘The Road Not Taken’ on 26th November 2024. This event aimed to inspire and support entrepreneurial innovation among students, providing them with an opportunity to present their ground-breaking business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges. A total of 56 teams from renowned institutions across India participated in the competition. After a rigorous screening process in the preliminary rounds, the top 6 teams advanced to the grand finale.

The event was judged by Mr. Shekhar Kumar, a prominent figure in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, who provided insightful feedback to all the finalists, encouraging them to refine and enhance their business models. Sankalp Jain & Pradeep Yadav from Amity University, Noida, clinched the first prize with their innovative business plan that stood out for its originality, scalability, and potential impact. Chirag Rastogi from Jaipuria Institute of Management secured the second position. His business idea was commended for its practical applicability and strategic approach. Kamal Krishna, from Sharda University whose creative and market-relevant proposal earned him third place in the competition. Mr. Shekhar Kumar praised the participants for their creativity and enthusiasm. He emphasized the importance of innovation and adaptability in today’s dynamic business environment. He also provided constructive feedback to the finalists, guiding them on how to refine their ideas and make them market-ready. The competition saw a diverse range of ideas, showcasing the participants’ creativity and entrepreneurial potential. The finalists captivated the audience and judges with compelling presentations and well-structured business models. The competition concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head of EDIC Cell Mr Vinod Dhar, inspiring everyone to continue exploring uncharted paths in their entrepreneurial journeys.
