The Athleema Club at ABS (Asian Business School) successfully organized the third edition of the “Master Sports League” i.e. Master Sports League 3.0 on November 28th, 2024. The sports event was a grand success, in which the students of ABS showcased exceptional sporting talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The event began with a motivational and inspiring inauguration by Dr. Shweta Batra – Dean Academics ABS. Participants participated in various sports competitions, including Shot Put, 50 m Dash, Kabaddi, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carrom and Tug of War. Each sport was meticulously organized by student coordinators and officiated by the faculty to ensure fair play. The event was not limiting to the participation only, it also brought the students together displaying their sportsmanship spirit and camaraderie. The event created a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, reinforcing the club’s commitment to fostering a sense of togetherness through sports.
The objective of the event was to encourage student’s physical fitness and good health while involving them in competitive activities. Physical activities form the most common source of wellbeing by enhancing physical fitness and mental health. Students enthusiastically participated in each event and the faces of winners of each game were full of energy. Initially four games Chess, Carrom, 50 M Dash and Shot put were conducted and girls and boys have shown full energy and enthusiasm in each game. The students were very excited for shot put and showed a fair participation and game spirit. At the end of event the last game was Tug of War in which there were different teams for boys and girls. It was a fantastic event. Each game’s winner was announced and congratulated. The hard work of players, volunteers and the support of ABS Athleema club made the Sports League a grand success. Throughout the event, their diligence and dedication to promote sports and health lifestyle were quite evident.
The Master Sports League 3.0 at Athleema Club, ABS, was a resounding success. It not only promoted physical fitness and sportsmanship but also brought the community together in a spirit of camaraderie and support for local talent. This event will undoubtedly serve as a stepping stone for future sports initiatives in the region, emphasizing the importance of sports in building a healthier and more connected community.
