As India targets to become a global economic powerhouse, it needs to equip its workforce with employable skills and knowledge to make India a developed economy. NASSCOM has played a major role in building competence and skill development for improving the quality of workforce required today.
Mr. Ishvinder Singh – National Lead at NASSCOM had an interactive session with students of PGDM 2018 batch on Employability Traits for getting placed. During his visit at ABS on Friday, 12th Oct 2018, he spoke about the changing work environment in the corporate world and growing expectation from the fresh knowledge workers. He also touched on key skills a candidate must possess while entering into the new world of business. He also covered the key areas of the new industry phase “Technologies & trend of the fourth Industrial Revolution 4.O”. The lecture curriculum was based on experiential learning, video-based learning and learning by direct experience sharing through role play activity in order to know the personality traits and managerial quality in students. The activity was well planned and students participated with full zeal. He gave practical insights to the students on the present marketing environment and its impact on business. The class was interactive and our students were indeed privileged to hear him speaking on some of the important aspects of Industries.
This lecture was another milestone in achieving the vision of ABS to collaborate with the best of industry experts for providing exposure to the students and make them corporate ready.
