“People Who Give and Donate Are Happier Than People Who Receive” is a truism. And this was seen on the 31st of January 2024 at the Asian Business School campus in Noida when the students and staff members donated blood with a grin on their face. Blood donation is regarded as one of the most honourable acts one can perform. It is important to keep in mind that blood can be considered “a gift of life,” the most valuable present that one person can give to another. Up to three people’s lives can be saved with just one unit of blood. The growing number of illnesses calls for an ever-increasing supply of blood, which is difficult to get. The lack of a blood supply claims the lives of more than a few people. Due to the fact that blood cannot be preserved for an extended period of time, it is imperative that healthy individuals regularly donate their blood in order to guarantee that those in need will not experience a shortage of blood.
Many students from PGDM I & II semester participated in this drive. Students were motivating each other also to donate blood. Asian Business School would like to express their gratitude to all of those who assisted in the successful completion of the drive, including the doctors, volunteers, faculty members, and all of the administrative personnel. Special thanks to Red Cross society for the wonderful initiative. The Blood Bank conveyed sincere thanks to Asian Business School and Red Cross society for organizing this camp.
