ATHLEEMA 2025 was a spectacular display of discipline, athleticism, and teamwork, held on February 27th and 28th at the Netaji Subhash Sports Complex in Jasola, New Delhi. The event culminated in a grand Valedictory Ceremony on March 1st at the Asian Business School, Noida, marking the successful conclusion of an inspiring sports extravaganza.
The inauguration was graced by the presence of renowned Indian cricketer Mr. Ishant Sharma, alongside the esteemed Directors of the Asian Education Group—Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Dr. Saurabh Sharma, and Dr. Gurdeep Singh Raina. The event commenced with an energizing torch-lighting ceremony, followed by a march past, flag hoisting, and the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among the participants. To further elevate the enthusiasm, an invigorating Zumba session was organized, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
With participation from over 3,000 students representing 77 colleges across Delhi NCR, ATHLEEMA 2025 witnessed electrifying competition and remarkable sportsmanship. The event featured a dynamic mix of outdoor and indoor sports, including cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi, tug-of-war, carrom, chess, pool, table tennis, badminton, a 100-meter race, shot put, chin-up bar, skipping, arm wrestling, and push-ups. The high energy and unwavering enthusiasm of the participants made the event an unforgettable experience.
The Valedictory Ceremony on March 1st honored the dedication and perseverance of the students. Mr. Praveen Kumar Singh, ACP of Gautam Buddha Nagar, attended as the Chief Guest, applauding the athletes for their hard work and commitment. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners, runners-up, and participants, recognizing their outstanding performances.
