Asian Business School Participates in Government’s “One Student, One Tree” Campaign

Asian Business School’s Eco-Club in association with the CSR Club organized a massive tree plantation drive at the Noida campus on 14th August, 2019.

The tree plantation drive at the Asian Business School was organized in accordance with Hon’ble HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank”’s invitation to participate in his newly launched campaign “One Student, One Tree”. This initiative is in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s idea of a green and healthy environment.

As a part of this campaign, all AICTE approved technical institutions were requested to carry out a plantation drive by planting minimum of one tree per student to achieve the target of one crore plants. All Faculty Members, Staff, Administration and Management of the Institutions were requested to encourage every student to plant at least one tree before 31st August.

The tree plantation drive at Asian Business School was initiated by Dr. Anubhuti Dwivedi, Associate Dean, ABS. During the drive, several saplings of different useful trees were planted throughout the campus by the School staff and PGDM students. The drive was undertaken with a dual objective of creating awareness among the students, staff and general public, as well as making the campus greener.
