Asian Business School organised ‘Confluence’ a Dean interaction and discussion with the student of PGDM 2021 & 2022 batch on 6th December 2022. In the presence of all the other department Deans and the heads.
Dean Academics Dr. Shweta Batra started with congratulating the students for an active participation in various events and activities. She also talked about all the events conducted in the past one month and encouraged students to actively participate in all these events as they give a good exposure to the students and at the same time help them develop their self-confidence, personality and communication.
The winners of the events and activities were felicitated on the stage. Special mention was made to the teams who participated in the external event Case Folio Competition organized at GIBS where one team of Utkarsh, Harsh and Pranjali grabbed the third position and also won a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-. All the six students who went to participate in the event were appraised by the Dean and were felicitated on the stage.
Dr. Batra also congratulated all the 8 students who participated in the International Conference and wrote research papers. The students of 2021 batch included Ms. Bhavya Bakshi, Ms. Ekta Maurya, Ms. Anjali, Mr. Bharat Singh Samant, Ms. Arunima Pandey and Ms. Neha Chaudhary who also won the best research paper award in the Finance track of the conference. The students from 2022 batch were Mr. Ujjawal Joshi and Ms. Anushka Aggarwal who also won the best research paper award in the general management track of the conference. Other students were also encouraged to write research papers in various conferences in the college and outside as well.
The upcoming events were discussed followed by the discussion of results of sessional examinations and few doubts of the students related to the examinations were clarified.
The platform was then open for the suggestions of the students. Students concerns and suggestions were taken and the solutions on them were worked upon.
The monthly newsletter “The Zine” was shown to the students elaborating on all the events covered, alumni of the month, employee success stories, write-up of students, etc.
The announcement of the Student of the Month was made “Mr. Utkarsh” from PGDM 2022 batch grabbed that position.
The pamphlet of Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 was released and the same were distributed to the students.
In the end the faculty feedback was taken from the students.
