ABS National Seminar on “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Economic Development: The Road Ahead”

Entrepreneurship can be a key to different roadblocks in the course of development to the economy. It acts as the foundation for economic growth and gives millions of people decent jobs. To enlighten and explore the sphere of entrepreneurship, Asian Business School organised its 9th National Seminar on “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Economic Development: The Road Ahead” on Wednesday, 9th November 2022 to celebrate National Entrepreneurship Day.

The seminar was devoted to reflect the ground realities and a collective consensus on addressing how entrepreneurship will prove to be a pivotal point in terms of meeting the country’s inclusive economic development goals while also establishing a robust community. The thrust of seminar was to encourage and enlighten young people to undertake innovation and entrepreneurial activities for the economic development and to understand various action plans for entrepreneurship.

The seminar commenced with the lighting of lamp and welcome introduction of dignitaries present on and off the dais. In Inaugural Ceremony the welcome address was delivered by Dr. Shweta Batra, Dean -Asian Business School and Inaugural address by Mr. Vinod Dhar, Head IC-Asian Business School. This was fostered by the wise words of Ms. Shreedha Singh , Founder & CEO of T.A.C, Mr. Ankit Prasad, Founder Bobble AI. They shared different perspective about entrepreneurship development through Innovations During Uncertainties, Entrepreneurship Discourse & Transformation through marketing activities and Professional Investment.

The Plenary Session was moderated by Ms. Shipra Shrivastava, Convener ABS. The session was fostered by the wise words of Ms. Divya Gandotra Tandon, Director The Scoop Beats, the youngest entrepreneur and an inluential figure and Ms. Gujan Taneja , Co- Founder Head of Marketing & Product U CLEAN.

The seminar reinforced entrepreneurial spirit to foster a start-up ecosystem and encourage local people to engage in AtmaNirbhar Bharat through promoting traditional knowledge. It maximizes the economy’s potential and fosters societal growth and advancement.

The Plenary session enlightened the audience with the insights that entrepreneurs are unique individuals with the fortitude to overcome obstacles and create unique solutions to economic woes. The appeal of entrepreneurship is that it pushes boundaries and employs strategies to develop fresh, contemporary methods to living. This was followed by the felicitation ceremony of the guests. The seminar marked its culmination by Vote of Thanks by Mr. Ravi Sharma, Dean- Corporate Resource Cell (CRC), Asian Business School (ABS). The audience accumulated the wise words and appreciated the constructive platform that the seminar provided them for entrepreneurship.
