The students of Asian Business School got an esteemed opportunity to have an Industrial visit to a prestigious company Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd on September 14, 2012. Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd is situated at Ray Industrial estate, Sonipat. Once students reached the unit, they were headed to the conference room and were briefed about the company “Yakult” and given detailed information on the history and importance of “Probiotics”. Students then went to the production section of the company and got acquainted with the working of machines right from the production of the product to the packaging of the bottles of probiotic milk. Later, students gathered in the conference hall again and were shown video on the product and company future plans for expansion and distribution of the product in the Indian market. Overall, it was a tour with a lot of learning and take away for the students. Students were able to connect lots of classroom learning with the practical application in the industry.
