Asian Business School organized its 9th convocation ceremony on 5th November2011 at Marwah Studios-II Campus. The morning was marked with excited facesof the students who come to celebrate the occasion. The guests of honor for the morning were Lt. Gen. K. M. Seth, PVSM, AVSM (Retd), Former Governor ofChhattisgarh, Mr. Pankaj Saxena, Head of Programming, BBC Worldwide, Mr.Y.P Singh-Head & Dean , Faculty of Commerce & Business, Delhi University and Dr. R. Suri-Director-PR Edu Media Pvt. Ltd & Ex-Director General –VC ForMonad University, Ghaziabad & Advisor for APG Shimla University, Himachal.The function began with the welcome speech of Mr. Sandeep Marwah, Director ABS. He addressed students, who were venturing into the professional field and conferred diplomas to the graduating students. He advised students to possess the managerial skills and conduct themselves professionally and ethically. He assured students that he would be there for them at the time of crisis. His speech was extremely motivating and inspiring. His Excellency Lt. Gen. K. M. Seth praised ABS students for being disciplined and compared them with the focused soldiers . He appreciated the efforts of the placement team which declared 100% placement record. Mr. Pankaj Saxena through a small story to explain to live the life to fullest. Y.P.Singh blessesd the students and gave them the valuable tips to face the challenges of life. Dr. Suri stressed on ethics and moral duties of an Indian citizen and requested students to work ethically in their domains. Mrs. Latika Sahni , Dean, ABS, gave the success indicators to the students as they were passing through the transition period of their life. She urged the graduating students to work sincerely to realize their dreams and encourage them to struggle for success even in times of crisis and rejection. Annual report was also presented. This was followed by awarding the diplomas by the guests and the ABS-Excellence Awards. The ceremony ended in Europhia with the students tossing their convocation hats.
