Utsav and Gnosis, two of the prominent clubs of Asian Business School organized the Republic Day Celebration on 25th January 2024. The event was to mark the occasion of Republic Day as India entered into the 75th year of declaring itself as a democratic and republic nation. As part of this mighty and glorious nation with a cherished legacy of diversity, tolerance, inclusiveness and mutual respect, Asian Business School organized the celebratory event to commemorate the contribution and services of our forefathers. The event was comprised of different categories like poster making, extempore, reel making and cultural performances. The students who took part in poster making, exhibited their craft by designing different posters which exemplified different facets of our Indian-ness.
The participants who turned up for extempore showcased their speaking skills by going impromptu. Each student was supposed to pick one chit and speak for around two minutes. The topics, though diverse, were extensions of the grand theme, ‘Our Duty Towards Nation’. As for the cultural segment, students manifested their love and tribute for the nation through various performances of singing and dance; all the performances were in alignment with the theme of the event and infused the ambiance with patriotic songs and chorus. The participants in the reel-making competition captured the entire daylong event and assembled the best moments in a reel for final submission. With all these activities the event went well and students left with the zeal of republic with them.
