Role of Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Centre (EDIC) at ABS is to enable students to be more creative in taking a rational risk in starting an enterprise and encourages innovative business start-ups and facilitates them through research and consultancy. It conducts various Entrepreneurship Development Programs for developing entrepreneurial skills enabling students to take up entrepreneurship as a career choice.
Young Asian Entrepreneurial Challenge is an attempt from Asian Business School to bring out the best from the future business leaders by providing them an opportunity to share their acumen by devising out a workable business plan. This event takes place before the commencement of regular classes.
The winner of the event happens to win an Apple Macbook, a trophy as well as a certificate and direct entry into the Grand Finale of Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year where the winner is provided a Seed Fund of Rs. 5 Lacs.
Evaluation of Plan: Each Business plan is evaluated on the basis of following factors:
(a) Summary
(b) Marketing Plan
(c) Financial Plan
(d) Innovativeness
Judgement and final Evaluation of the event is carried out by a leading entrepreneur who has already made a name in the industry.
