Dr. Sweta Singhal

Dr. Sweta Singhal has joined us as an Associate Professor at Asian Business School. She is a highly experienced academician, having done her Ph.D. in Humanities and Social Science (specializing on Rural entrepreneurship) from prestigious institute, NIT Allahabad. She also holds an MBA in HRM and Marketing with Industry experience of 3 years.
Prior to joining us, Dr Sweta was associated with Amity University, Noida for six years as a faculty for HRM and OB subjects, wherein she has successfully practiced the concept of edu-entrepreneurship by making the classes more interactive resulting in the overall skills development of her students. She was the reviewer for the Amity Journal of Entrepreneurship till 2022 and also participated in various workshops/ FDP’s on teaching pedagogical skills and research.
Her core specialization includes Entrepreneurship, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour and Behaviourial Science. Dr Sweta has over half a dozen research papers published in the scopus, UGC Net journals to her credit. She also has been felicitated by the Jharkhand Journal of Development and Management studies for her writings on the topic “On the role of Social entrepreneurs in Catalyzing empowerment in the slum areas of India”.
Dr Sweta has been participating as a distinguished speaker/presenter in several seminars in leading Institutes of India including IISc Bengaluru, IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow, TISS Mumbai etc wherein she shared her thoughts on wide ranging topics in the field of management & entrepreneurship development in India.
