Students and faculty of Asian Business School organized ‘Online Education Awareness Camp’ under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan under the leadership of Dr. Anubhuti Dwivedi (Institute Coordinator-UBA). The online education awareness camp was organized on 06th March 2020 in the villages Azgarpur, Hazipur, Shahpur, Nithari and Nagli Sabapur where students of Asian Business School imparted training to the village children on self learning with the help of apps and YouTube using internet through the mobile devices and created awareness about the importance of education among children. As a planned procedure teams of 10 students along with faculty representatives went to each of the 5 villages adopted under the UBA and met with the primary school teachers and students and trained them on how they can utilize internet as a potent medium to engage in all types of educational purposes.
Students of Asian Business school towards the end of the camp also did a brief performance of nukkad-natak and explained the benefits of education and why education plays a crucial role in uplifting their and their family’s standard of living. The adults were also supervised to always ensure the children use mobile phones by the permission and under the supervision of the elders.
The various educational content providers that provide learning through easily accessible websites and mobile applications were shown to the teachers and how it can aid in imparting education and also make the sessions more engaging and invite a lot of interest from the children. Around 110 village children across the five villages participated in these camps and learned the use of mobile phone applications and services for helping them in the education and all-round development.
