The trip to Oxford was the most memorable trip of my educational journey. I learned many things there and enjoyed a lot with my batch mates. Experience with ABS has been like a roller coaster ride but it was a journey worth taking. I have got opportunities to challenge myself and put my skills to test which I am more than thankful for. Well it’s been a wonderful journey for me. I have started my journey in ABS with the PGDM course started from July 2016. Since then my life has changed. There were a lots of Corporate visits for us was there and we learnt new things about marketing. Faculties were good and supportive to students. Because of their grooming I’m able to get myself excellent placement with ABAMCL. It’s a wonderful feeling to start the career with such excellent organization.
In Asian Business School I have learnt many things like, facing problems, dealing with situations. During my post-graduation, I didhave done internship from OYO Rooms and I was posted in Nainital, Uttrakhand. It was a great experience for me. I got to know many things about service marketing. I’m proud of being a part of Asian Business School, and once an Asianite is always an Asianite.

My journey revolved around ABS by having the ability to come up with new ideas and put them to the test. My Journey with ABS is nothing short of a dream come true ! I had joined ABS because of its flagship program PGDM which carries a high reputation in industry. I feel proud that I was one of the students of PGDM in Asian Business School. The department has made me gain knowledge and solid experience on issues like business, ethics, and personality and professionalism. My doubts and queries were always welcomed by the lecturers and sometimes led to healthy discussion which motivated me to develop curiosity and in-depth thinking. The relationship between facilities and students is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. I am grateful to Asian Business School, Noida for giving me support and opportunities right from my Summer Internship. I got a chance to work in SAIL as an Intern which helped me to shape my career. An industrial visit, at Yakult Danone India Private Limited, was organized for the students of PGDM I sem section ‘D’ and Section B on 18th Aug’2025. The objectives of the visit were to give students first had exposure to the manufacturing process of an organization, understand the various stages involved during the manufacturing, how a plant layout looks like and the operational strategies used for quality output. Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. is a 50:50 Joint Venture (JV) between Yakult Honsha in Japan and Groupe Danone in France, both of which are global probiotic leaders. Yakult is a leading player in probiotic milk product with robust quality measures, Yakult is being distributed by grocery stores, e-commerce, and Yakult Ladies. Yakult Ladies are women of all ages, who drive scooters and deliver Yakult to house customers. There are more than 300 Yakult Ladies in Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai and Pune. Ms. Mehak Garg, Executive – AQ, Science & PR, was kind enough the brief the students about the company’s history, the founder, how Yakult was born, quality, and sustainability. As a pioneer in probiotics, Yakult has formidable research capabilities and technological advances in the field of probiotics. It is backed by more than 85 years of research, and more than 100 human studies have been conducted in the world including India, on Yakult’s probiotic bacteria, L.casei Shirota (SHIROTA strain). The studies have indicated that regular consumption of Yakult helps improve digestion and helps build immunity. The students learnt about the different stages of Yakult production and places where they sell. ABS Student “Deepa Gupta” won the lucky winner prize for being the 300,000 visitor at Yakult as was felicitated with a gift kit. Manufacturing Process: Students were taken through the entire manufacturing process right from the raw material stage, seeding stage – to – fermentation stage – testing stage – processing stage- to the finished goods stage and the final packaging. Students were briefed on the best quality of raw material used by the company, the advanced technology used for superior quality production and the quality checks used for ensuring right product. Overall the industrial visit for the students was a good learning experience and highly enriching in terms of first hand understanding of how a manufacturing unit works, how various stages of the manufacturing processes are interconnected so as to roll out quality product and how the integration of advance technology in production leads to quality.
