Asian Business School in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan cell and CSR club organized a visit to local government school in village Asgarpur on 1st December, 2022. The faculties along with volunteered students of PGDM went for the Exploration – Need Identification Drive in Govt School, Asgarpur Village. They interacted with school Principal Ms. Geeta Devi and the class teachers to explore more in terms of future plan of action of student engagement in the classes particularly subjects like English, Mathematics and Science.
The ABS academic team and the student volunteers educated the students about the serious and detrimental effects of pollution and its ramifications on physical, mental, and environmental health with the aid of role playing. In addition, the students were made to undertake quizzes on their subjects and play educational games like scrambled words and general knowledge questions. In addition, the students were taught the fundamentals of verbal communication in the English language and how to introduce oneself formally. The students were highly engrossed the entire time and gained a lot of fresh knowledge and insights about their respective courses. Additionally, a six-month schedule of events was created with input from the principal and teachers at the school for the benefit of the students.
