Asian Business School inaugurates week long PGDM Orientation 2022 Program

Asian Business School, Noida, organized the “Inaugural Ceremony” of PGDM Orientation 2022 – 24 Batch on 25th July, 2022 with full zeal and enthusiasm. The first year Batch of PGDM were fervently welcomed to the campus with a formal Kit in place and a piping ceremony held, where the badges were disbursed to them by the seniors. The Inaugural session started with the lightening of the lamp, followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG). The Chief Guest of the Inaugural Session was Dr. Kiran Bedi, 1st Women IPS Officer of India, Former LG Puducherry and Guest of Honour-Mr. Mukesh Rohila, Director-Human Capital Advisory, KPMG India. Dr. Lalitya envisioned the students for evolving one’s creativity, direction and gratitude towards opportunities.

The Inaugural address was presented by Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG), who enlightened the students on bridging the gap from ‘Earning to Learning’. Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG), emphasizing upon the attribute of diversity, divulged the fact that students from 18 states and 81 cities have been a part of the current year PGDM Batch. Proceeding to the Inaugural addresses, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Education Group (AEG), orated a very motivating and mesmerizing disquisition expounding the definition of term ‘EDUCATION’ to the students.

The Guest of Honour- Mr. Mukesh Rohila, Director-Human Capital Advisory, KPMG India gave a profound yet captivating view on corporate etiquette and character, with an emphasis upon the traits of resilience, learning attitude and determination.

The Chief Guest of the Inaugural session- Dr. Kiran Bedi, 1st Women IPS Officer of India, Former LG Puducherry sensitized the gathering with a very sensitive issue of ‘Gender Discrimination’. Dr. Kiran guided the students for dealing with conflicts, having an individual ‘SWOT’ Analysis of one’s own. She shared glimpses from her new released edition ‘Fearless Governance’ on the journey being an IPS Officer and focusing upon the grass-root level problems. Dr. Kiran Bedi illuminated hundreds of students accommodated in the Auditorium with her valiant and candor attitude.

The Procession of the events were followed by an Oath Ceremony taken by Dr. Shweta Batra, wherein the students pledged to the code of practices of the Institution. Mr. Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Education Group (AEG) felicitated the Guest of Honour and the Chief Guest with a Shawl and Memento, followed by a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Ravi Sharma, Dean-CRC, Asian Education Group (AEG).
