Living up to its reputation of offering a holistic and all-round academic experience to all its students, Asian Business School came back with yet another event full of energy and enthusiasm – viz., a blend of Cultural & Sports event “EXUBERANCE 2021”, a prelude to Kesshet (our Annual Fest) and Athleema (our Annual Sports Meet) – which gave our PGDM students a wonderful platform to showcase their talents and team spirit. The day-long event that was organized on Saturday, 6th March 2021 at our campus exclusively for our internal I & II year PGDM students, celebrated the spirit of camaraderie and explored the potential of our students – both individually and in the group – as they participated in the cultural and sports activities which were missed so much due to the COVID 19 situation.
Here, it may be mentioned that our Annual Fest, KESSHET is billed as one of the biggest inter-college cultural fest of NCR, India that witnesses a perfect blend of an array of colorful activities ranging from literary bent to theatre-based events and cultural events amongst others. The fest draws the best talent from a number of institutes across the nation, covering areas ranging from music and drama to literary events, games and creative explosion in graffiti spreading various colours at the ABS campus.
Again, our Annual Sports Meet, ATHLEEMA is an equally well-recognized mega annual inter-college sports event open to all similar colleges and institutes located in the Delhi NCR region. Several top colleges of the metropolitan capital city enthusiastically participate in this sports spectacle wherein games in which competition are held include cricket, volleyball (boys/ girls), football, table tennis, tug-o-war, badminton, chess, carrom, athletics (shot put & 100m race), kabaddi (boys/ girls), kho-kho (boys/ girls), pool, etc.
On the day of the event, the cultural programs were taking place in the auditorium and by the same time, the sports events were taking place in the sports ground. There were a mix of activities like Dance, Singing, Nukkad Natak, Photography, Stand-up Comedy and Art Gallery, and in sports there were 100m Race, Badminton, Volleyball, Tug-of-War, Chess and Carom, which the students enjoyed a lot. Students learned team building and leadership as well through this event, as some of the students supported the Faculty Mentors as Student’s Coordinators and handled the entire event along with them. The best of the activities were judged as the winners and the event ended with joy and excitement.
