In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and keeping in mind the social distancing norms, this programme was organized virtually to benefit the students who were about to begin a new phase in their academic life.
At the ABS PGDM Orientation 2020 Inaugural Ceremony held on Tuesday, 11th August 2020, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Education Group (AEG) delivered the keynote address.
Dr. Marwah began his speech with an invocation prayer to Lord Ganesh on behalf of all the new batch students that said, “Hey Lord, I’m showering flowers on Your Feet and looking for more capacity and capability to complete this new job I’m starting today. Hey Lord, I pray to Thee that I should be able to complete this job comfortably without any hindrances and obstacles. I need new energy from You!”
He then welcomed all the new students on board of Asian Business School and enlivened the ambience with his inspiring speech laced with some stirring Hindi couplets and motivated the students by stating that “two things were much more beautiful than what you can see with your naked eyes – your THINKING and your FEELINGS … and the best part is that both the things are there right within you!”
Next, Dr. Marwah recounted the remarkable journey of Asian Education Group from 50 students, 5 courses and 1 campus in the year 1993 to today’s 5 campuses, 5000 students and more than 55 courses and the latest milestone – viz. the recent launch of AAFT University at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India! He said that “the journey has been very interesting” and thanked all members of the Asian Education Group for their hard work and dedication.
Dr. Marwah further cautioned the students to beware of their association and asked them to only associate with those kind of people who had definite goals in their life and who persevered to achieve them through self-motivation.
He also exhorted students to align their thinking & feelings with goodness and to remember that “to achieve one’s goal in life, you have to have a very strong determination and a Yes-I-Can-Do-It attitude.”
He then commended the Directors, faculty and staff members of Asian Business School for coming out strong against the pandemic by managing the functioning of the institution comfortably through seamless online classes and organizing path-breaking webinar sessions with the who’s who of the world!
