Taken Series 2: Inter College Business Plan Competition

The Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Centre (EDIC) at Asian Business School, Noida organized an Inter College Business Plan Competition, Road Not Taken – Series 2 on 3rd Nov 2018. The competition was intended to give collegiate entrepreneurs a real-world experience to fine-tune their business plans and also to elevate pitches to maximize the potential of commercialization of their products.

The competition took place at two levels, first level as an intra-college round for Asian Business School (ABS) and Asian School of Business (ASB) separately. Then, second level was competed among various institutions of Delhi NCR including students of Asian Education Group. An accelerated learning pace and the enriching experience of working in interdisciplinary teams resulted in a number of creative, novel product and service concepts.

Competition highlights includedpresentations on real-world opportunities and to learn what it takes to successfully launch a new business, and a chance to receive mentoring from experienced mentors. The students researched, discussed, and revised their ideas and learned subject-specific knowledge and valuable intercultural skills.

Moving towards the conclusion of the event, an expert jury awarded first prize to Shubham Agarwal representing Asian School of Business, Noida and Vasu Jain, HarshitGoyal, Shweta Shukla representing Asian Business School, Noida. In this category, Abhishek Kharbanda along with Amanjeet Kaur representing Gitarattan International Business School, Delhi and Mansi Jain along with Krishna Chaitanya from Asian School of Business, Noida boarded second place. All in all, it was a very good experience for everyone to share their plans in front of others and gain experience at the same time.

Participation certificates were awarded to all the participants and winners received the coveted trophies for making a mark in the Series 2 of Road Not Taken, the annual business plan competition organized by EDIC at Asian Business School.
