Asian Business School under its UBA cell conducted an activity on the 11th of December 2025 in Hazipur Village located in sector 104 Noida.
The Activity was conducted at the “Vatsalyam Gurukul School” of the Hazipur Village. The activity involved students of sixth, seventh and eight standards. The verbal demonstration included showcasing the audio video films comprising of the information and knowledge on the cultural diversity of India. Creating an understanding about the festivals and reasons of celebrating those festivals was further stressed upon through a quiz session. This was followed by another session that engaged the students in a HAND SKILL activity, that was based on the traditions and rituals of the Indian States. A Sketching and painting contest was held amongst the students after the demonstration, which involved student’s active participation. The winners were awarded with gifts and goodies.
The activity was helpful in exposing the kids to the vast cultural traditions, practices, and perspectives across India. Also to break down stereotypes and misconceptions about different communities thus promoting cultural diversity.
It also focused on foster empathy, mutual respect, and a sense of national unity among students. Involving the local community (parents, elders) in the educational process, was helpful in bridging the gap between home and school.
