    YOUNG ASIAN ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR 2026 - SEASON 5

    A Journey of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence

    The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Cell (EDIC) of Asian Business School successfully organized its flagship entrepreneurial competition, Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year (YAETY) 2026, providing a dynamic platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into viable business ventures. The event aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, encourage innovation, and identify promising business leaders among the PGDM students. The competition was conducted through a rigorous four-stage evaluation process, designed to assess participants on innovation, feasibility, business acumen, presentation skills, and entrepreneurial potential.

    Following a rigorous evaluation process, the top 21 business plans were shortlisted for the Quarter Finale, where the participants presented their ventures before Ms. Uzma from NSIC, Okhla, who assessed the ideas on parameters such as innovation, feasibility, scalability, and market potential. The competition then progressed to the Semi Finale executed on 10 April 2026, where the top 10 participants delivered comprehensive presentations of their business concepts. The round was judged by Ms. Tanoora Shweta Menon, who evaluated the participants on their strategic thinking, business viability, financial planning, and presentation skills, ultimately selecting the five most promising ventures for the Grand Finale.

    The Grand Finale conducted on 15th April 2026 was a true celebration of entrepreneurial talent, where the finalists presented their business ideas before an esteemed jury led by Ms. Gauri Verma, Founder of Confect. The participants demonstrated remarkable confidence, innovation, and business insight while defending their concepts and responding to challenging questions from the jury. After an intense and highly competitive final round, Mr. Dhruv Arora emerged victorious and was crowned "Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year 2026." In recognition of his outstanding entrepreneurial vision and innovative business proposal, he was awarded the prestigious title, a glittering championship trophy, and a seed fund of ₹5 lakh to support the development of his venture.

    Young Asian Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 served as a transformative learning experience that encouraged students to think innovatively, develop sustainable business solutions, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. The event reaffirmed Asian Business School's commitment to fostering innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship while empowering future business leaders to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.
