Asian Business School conducted its 14th Convocation Ceremony, held on 17th March 2026 at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, marked a significant milestone in the institution’s journey of academic excellence and professional accomplishment. The grand scale of the event was reflected in the presence of over 2,500 attendees, including faculty members, families, dignitaries, and approximately 1,500 graduating students who were conferred their degrees.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Nitin Gadkari, who attended as the Chief Guest. A senior leader in Indian politics, Shri Gadkari currently serves as the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. Known for his pragmatic approach and focus on infrastructure development, he has played a pivotal role in transforming India’s road network, advocating sustainable mobility solutions, and encouraging innovation in public policy. His career reflects a commitment to efficiency, governance reform, and nation-building, making his presence at the convocation both relevant and inspiring for the graduating cohort.
In his address, Shri Gadkari spoke about the importance of adaptability, ethical leadership, and the need for young professionals to contribute meaningfully to society. He emphasized the value of practical knowledge, innovation, and resilience in navigating the evolving demands of the professional world.
During the ceremony, the Faculty Excellence Award was conferred upon Dr. Richa Sharma in recognition of her outstanding performance, reflected through exceptional student feedback, significant research contributions, and dedication to academic responsibilities.
The convocation was conducted with great precision and dignity, celebrating the hard work, perseverance, and achievements of the graduating class. The batch toppers, Ms. Ritika Singh (Batch 2022) and Ms. Shruti Deshwal (Batch 2023), were honoured with gold medals by the Chief Guest, Shri Nitin Gadkari.
