    AICTE-VAANI 2025-2026 NATIONAL CONFERENCE

    Asian Business School successfully hosted the prestigious AICTE-VAANI 2025-2026 National Conference in hindi language on “Energy, Sustainability, and Climate Change: Exploring Diverse Perspectives in Business Management” “ऊर्जा, स्थिरता और जलवायु परिवर्तन: व्यापार प्रबंधन में विविध दृष्टिकोणों की खोज “in Hindi language on the 21st and 22nd of November 2025. The two-day conference brought together distinguished academicians, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and students to deliberate on emerging challenges and innovative solutions relating to energy transition, sustainability, and climate resilience in business ecosystems.

    The core objective of the conference was to explore innovative business strategies, emerging technologies, and policy frameworks that address energy innovation, sustainability integration, and climate change adaptation. The offline conference created a rich interactive platform for intellectual exchange, collaborative learning, and solution-oriented dialogue. The conference commenced with the Inaugural Ceremony, which set a highly intellectual and enthusiastic tone for the next two days. Dr. Shweta Batra, Dean, Asian Business School, extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and participants, providing a brief yet powerful introduction to the significance of the Hindi Language and the conference theme in the current global economic landscape. This was followed by insightful addresses from Dr. Onkarnath and Dr. Aarti Gupta, who emphasized the relevance of sustainable development, climate awareness, and value-based education in shaping future-ready business leaders. Their perspectives enriched the inaugural platform and strengthened the academic foundation for the sessions that followed. The Inaugural ceremony was marked by the esteemed presence of Dr. Ashutosh Karnatak (Former Chairman & Managing Director of GAIL (India) Limited) who delivered the insightful Inaugural Address. His session provided a high-level strategic overview of the energy transition in India and the role of leadership in driving sustainable practices across large corporations. On the second day, Col. Prakash Tewari, Member, Expert Appraisal Committee, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India, delivered an impactful address focusing on practical, action-oriented approaches to environmental protection and climate governance. A significant highlight of the event was the release of three books—Hindi Research Papers, English Research Papers, and Bilingual Conference Proceedings. The conference was structured around three pivotal themes, with dedicated technical sessions featuring resource persons from The World Bank, Rainforest Alliance, and major industry bodies, reflecting a high level of expertise.

    Theme 1: Energy Innovation and Transition in Business

    This theme explored the transitions towards sustainable business models. Key discussions included:

     * Mr. Sandeep Kanda (Consultant at The World Bank) on Investment Strategies for Clean Energy Projects, highlighting financial mechanisms to accelerate the adoption of renewables.

     * Mr. Dinesh Agrawal (Principal Consultant, Consocia Advisory) on Renewable Energy Integration in Business Operations, focusing on practical implementation challenges and successes.

    Theme 2: Sustainability Strategies and Corporate Responsibility

    Focusing on embedding sustainability into the corporate DNA, this theme featured critical insights:

     * Mr. Arun Arora (Director - Mavyn, Chetak Foundation) presented on Green Marketing and Consumer Behavior, detailing strategies for transparent and ethical consumer engagement.

     * Mr. Nikhil Pant (Chairman and CEO REACHA) addressed the crucial topic of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Integration, emphasizing its non-negotiable role in modern corporate strategy.

     * Fmr. M C Dominic (Founder and Editor-in Chief, Krishi Jagran & AW) led a key discussion on Sustainability Reporting and Transparency, underscoring the need for rigorous and honest disclosure.

    Theme 3: Climate Change Adaptation and Business Resilience

    This theme concentrated on building organizational strength against climate shocks:

     * Dr. Madhuri Nanda (Director - South Asia at Rainforest Alliance) discussed the Role of Technology in Climate Adaptation Strategies, particularly how digital tools enhance monitoring and mitigation efforts.

     * Dr. K K Upadhyay (Professor and Chairperson, Center for Sustainability & CSR at Birla Institute of Management and Technology) presented on Technological Frontiers in Combating Climate Change: Business Perspectives, focusing on future-ready infrastructure and planning.

     * Dr. Anup Kalra (Director QCS herbals and Alternate Green Energy Solutions) provided a unique perspective on Smart Integrated Livestock Technologies and Energy Efficiency.

    The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from 77 registered participants, including academicians, research scholars, postgraduate students, and industry professionals. 33 research papers related to the conference themes were presented across the technical sessions. The AICTE–VAANI National Conference 2025 concluded on a highly successful note, generating valuable academic insights and strengthening the discourse on sustainability, energy transition, and climate resilience in business. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Swati Bhatia, Conference Coordinator and Head IQAC Cell, to all delegates, resource persons, the organizing team, 80 dedicated student coordinators from PGDM for their crucial support in ensuring the smooth conduct and success of the AICTE-VAANI 2025 National Conference.
