Asian Education Group hosted National Seminar on Era of Skill Development Inspire , Innovate & Integrate on 13th August, 2016. The inaugural ceremony of the National Seminar witnessed the stalwarts Mr. Dilip Chenoy, Former Managing Director and CEO, National Skill Developing Corporation and Dr. Sri Ram Khanna, Professor, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University sharing their words of wisdom with the young audience.
Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group gave the inaugural address and spoke about the skill gaps that are both in academia and industry. He emphasized that that Asian Education Group has recognized the importance of skill development and the institution already has Centre for Skill Development in place.
Mr. Dilip Chenoy , Former Managing Director and CEO, National Skill Development Corporation, congratulated Asian Education Group fraternity for choosing “Skill Development” as theme for National Seminar. He gave a forceful presentation in this regard and shared his valuable experience with the igniting young minds of Asian Education Group.
Dr.SriRam Khanna, Professor of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, spoke at length about the how skills can be developed which will eventually result in growth of GDP Of India.
The technical Session was conducted and many academicians from Delhi /NCR and far off places were part of paper presentation. The session chair was Mr. Ashutosh Mani Tripathi an alumni of IIM, Lucknow. The presenters gave their respective suggestions through their research findings in order to fill the skill gaps in various sectors of the industry.
In the Valedictory session, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava gave the participation certificates to the delegates from various reputed colleges along with the First and Second Prize winners for the Best Paper Presentation Competition in the National Seminar.
The National Seminar was conducted by Dr. Tanu Kashyap.
