Grand Opening of Athleema – 4th Annual Sports Meet

Asian Education Group witnessed a grand opening of ATHLEEMA on November 26, 2015. The ongoing event is taking place in Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi. The meet was inaugurated by the Chairman of Asian Education Group Professor Sandeep Marwah, CEO of Asian Education Group Mr. Akshay Marwah graced the occasion with his benign presence. Professor Sandeep Marwah motivated the young participants and advised them to play sports not just for themselves but harness expertise so that they can play for their country. The Chief Guest of this inaugural ceremony was Mr. Anup Chaudhary, who is Arjuna awardee and besides being on high position in Police department is also a sportsman of repute. He shared words of wisdom with the young athletes. Mr. Prabhakar Jha, Ranji trophy player from Haryana and state selector; was the guest of honour. The Director of Asian Business School Mr. Lalithya Vir Srivastava thanked the guests for their presence and emphasized upon the vision that is behind the hosting of ALEEMA. Director (Branding) Mr. Saurabh Sharma and Director (Admissions) Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina graced the occasion with their benignant presence.

The inaugural ceremony was a treat to the eyes as it was filled with the vibrancy, colourfulness and eagerness of the young participants of 25 colleges and universities who wish to showcase their talent in the respective sports categories. Asian Business School registered their first win in Tug-O-War in both Boys and Girls categories. Not only this. they have entered semifinal and finals in many categories. The Volley Ball Final was played and witnessed a nail biting finish between D.A.V Faridabad and Dayal Singh College,Delhi. Dayal Singh College, Delhi are the winners of Volley ball. We are sure that day 2 will bring in more exciting news.
