ASIANITES WITH SUNDER PICHAI(Google CEO) IN NEW DELHI

Our students of BBA met Mr. Sunder Pichai on December 17, 2015 at SRCC, New Delhi. Sundararajan Pichai better known as Sundar Pichai is a technological executive. He is now the CEO of Google Inc. Pichai was born in Chennai in 1972 to Tamil Parents; Lakshmi and Regunathan Pichai. His father was a senior electrical engineer for the British conglomerate GEC. He earned his degree from IIT (Kharagpur) in Metallurgical Engineering. He holds an MS from Standford University in Material Sciences and Engineering. He has an MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led product management. He was also part of innovative efforts for Google Chrome and Chrome OS and Google Drive. Larry Page, the current CEO of Alphabet Inc, announced Pichai next CEO of Google from August 10, 2015.

This development in international platform made a deep impact as an Indian was given this opportunity and was a fillip to brand India.
