ABS PGDM Orientation 2019 – Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina’s Message for the Students

Asian Business School (ABS) – a part of Asian Education Group and ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – commenced its new batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) through a high-profile three-day Orientation Program held from Monday, 15th July 2019 to Thursday, 18^th July 2019 at its towering campus located in Sector 125, Noida. This programme was organized to aid the students who were about to begin a new phase in their academic life.

At the ABS PGDM Orientation 2019 Inaugural Ceremony held on Monday, 15^th July 2019, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG) delivered the Director’s address.

Addressing the august gathering, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina Director-Asian Education Group (AEG) spoke about how “imagination is more important than knowledge”, which he said was “the mantra for ABS as well”. He advised the new batch of ABS PGDM students to “become creative and innovative and not just knowledgeable”.

He spoke about the merits of project-based learning and advised the students to always try to understand their lessons rather than just memorize them for their exams.

He also stressed upon the need for Indians to solve their own real life problems like poverty and unemployment and strongly recommended students to think of becoming entrepreneurs after the completion of their courses at ABS.

He concluded his speech by stating that “ABS is a river of knowledge flowing with opportunities and it is up to you (students) to take what you can!”
