ABS Distinguished Lecture Series – An Interactive Session on “Employability Skills” by Mr. Allan Antony

Employability skills are a set of skills and behaviors that are necessary for every job which could be further defined as soft skills, foundational skills, work-readiness skills, or job-readiness skills. We at ABS believes that there has to be a right mix of classroom teaching & real times exposure to students for the processional skill development of students. Under the Distinguished Lecture Series – An Expert Talk, we invite highly intellect industry professionals to interact with students to align them better as for industry requirement and standards. Guest lectures at ABS are a prominent constituent of the teaching pedagogy followed by the ABS faculty and CRC.

An interactive session on “Employability Skills” was organised on 28^th July 2018 for PGDM students wherein Mr. Allan Antony, Sr. HR Executive, CavinKare gave a meaningful insight on how to prepare themselves for the upcoming placement season, industry expectations from fresh talent, interview tips and how best they can develop their individual profile. The students got a chance to hear from the industry expert about the real life interview scenarios. He also introduced the students with the CavinKare brand, about the group history, product lines, market share and market competition.

Over all the session was full of learning and the students were enthusiastic about sharing their views on the company products and also asked some questions about the company.
