    Orientation Program 2026

    Asian Business School successfully organized a three-day Orientation Program for the incoming PGDM batch from 29th July to 31st July. The event was hosted for the students to familiarise them with the academic environment, providing industry exposure, and engagement through a blend of formal sessions and interactive activities.

    Day 1: Inaugural Session and Expert Talks

    The orientation commenced on 29th July with an inaugural session headed by the President of Asian Education Group Dr. Sandeep Marwah,, who formally welcomed the new batch with enthusiasm and shared his vision for academic excellence and professional growth. The event was further honoured by the presence of eminent entrepreneur Ms. Ghazal Alagh,Co-Founder of Mamaearth, and Mr. Ayush Gupta, HR Director at GAIL. Their insightful talk and interaction with the students inspired them and highlighted the industry expectations, leadership values, and entrepreneurial spirit.

    Another expert interaction was organized to provide students with a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship. Mr. Ayush Gupta, Founder of Aretto, delivered an engaging session on his Entrepreneurial journey. His talk focused on innovation, risk-taking, and the mindset required to build and sustain a successful venture that offered students with valuable real-world perspectives.

    Day 2: HR Conclave, Expert Talk and Team Building Activities

    The second day featured an enriching HR Conclave that brought together distinguished professionals from leading organizations. The panel included Ms Divya Nitin Tyagi from DS group, Mr. Kapil Kr Sharma from HDFC Bank, Mr. Agniwesh Thakur from Accenture, and Mr. Soarabh Pathak from Maruti Suzuki. The speakers shared their insights on what are current industry trends, what skills are the most important, and corporate expectations, that gave students the understanding and a start to align their academic journey with professional goals.

    The latter half of the day was dedicated to another lecture by the chief guest, Mr. Vivek Srivastava, Managing Director at PWC. He enunciated the importance of management as a field and the ever-growing trend in the field.

    Post this few ice-breaking and team-building activities were conducted by the Centre for Skill Development team. These activities were designed to foster collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills among students from the very first day. The sessions were highly interactive and helped students build connections while enhancing their teamwork abilities.

    Day 3: Campus Connect and Talent Hunt Competition

    The third day of the orientation started with making the students meet their Directors, HODs, faculty members and academic coordinators in the campus connect session. It was done to ensure that students can familiarize with their facilitators.

    The second half of the day was marked by a vibrant Talent Hunt Competition. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their talents. The competition was judged by actress and model Ms. Akaisha Vats, whose presence added excitement and motivation for the participants. The performances reflected the creativity and enthusiasm of the new batch. Ms. Protishtha Paul emerged as the winner of the competition and was awarded for her outstanding performance. The three-day orientation program was filled with learning of what their academic trajectory for the next 2 years will look like.  Students were debriefed on the culture and professional expectations of the PGDM program at Asian Business School. By bringing the eminent people from the industry the Orientation has provided the students with an exposure that will help them trace out their further journey ahead at ABS.
