Students Exchange programme – Oxford Business School on 19 August 2014

Students from Oxford business School had visited Asian Business School for a day’s exchange programme l on 19th August 2014. The programme was planned in such a way as to give the maximum feel of the Indian culture and economic scenario within the time constraint. The programme started by interaction of the foreign students with the marketing staff, faculty and administrative staff of ABS followed by an interactive session taken by Prof. Atul Kumar on “India as a land of entrepreneurship development”. The session focused on the key entrepreneurs of India and their achievements. Students interactive session between OBC & ABS students was planned in a semi-formal way and the purpose was to know and understand the differences in the values and culture of the youths in India and U.K. Then the foreign students had an interaction with Directors of ABS Dr Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina. The students were informed about the course curriculum and the teaching pedagogy in ABS.

Quite suprising the foreign students were able to communicate in Hindi language and throughout the programme they were very keen to discuss all the issues in Hindi. Overall it was a good exposure for the PGDM students of ABS.
