Celebration of National Unity Day (CSR and Gnosis Club) at Asian Business School

ABS celebrated the “National Unity Day” (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) with zeal and zest on 31st Oct 2018. This was to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhai Patel – A visionary who stood for the idea of a unified India and worked relentlessly towards realising this vision. ABS has always been taking a lead in organizing such events to transform their students in responsible citizens of India a part from being managers.

The celebration has proven effective in re-igniting the feeling of unity in diversity, and has made our students to feel and remember that we belong to one nation and are all equal regardless of interest, religion, race, gender and class. Being united only we can prosper and grow as a nation.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel wanted to see India united and he had worked by tooth and nail to realize his vision of United India.  He had been always fostering national integration in his speeches that is why He mentioned national integration in his speech when he first took the oath as a home minister. As they rightly say, Success of every nation lies in the national unity and harmony.

On this great occasion CSR and Literary Club “Gnosis” organized many activities like creating short video clips and slogan writing related to the theme of Unity and Harmony.

The activities were carried out in the auditorium. The Auditorium was full with the crowd of the students. Around 40 students had participated in creative video clip making and about 28 students participated in the slogan writing. The participants had come with wonderful and heart touching videos and the slogans were also outstanding.

The occasion was graced with the presence of Dr. Anubhuti Dwivedi, Associate Dean, Asian Business School whose presence has always served as a source of inspiration and motivation for the students. She urged the students to work in harmony in whatever field they go after college and strive to fulfil the vision of a unified India.
