ABS PGDM Orientation 2019 – Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava’s Address

Asian Business School (ABS) – which is a part of Asian Education Group and is ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – inaugurated its new batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) by way of an impressive three-day Orientation Program held from Monday, 15th July 2019 to Thursday, 18th July 2019 at its imposing campus located in Sector 125, Noida. This programme was organized to benefit the students who were about to begin a new phase in their academic life.

At the ABS PGDM Orientation 2019 Inaugural Ceremony held on Monday, 15th July 2019, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG) delivered the inaugural address.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director-Asian Education Group (AEG) spoke about the need for students to “come out of their Comfort Zones and develop themselves and convert their potentialities into abilities and their abilities into capabilities so as to differentiate themselves from the others and thereby create their distinct individuality which is what matters in the corporate world.”

He stressed upon the need for students to learn how to apply the classroom-acquired knowledge into its practical aspects. He also spoke at length about the importance of developing one’s skills-set so as to enhance their chances of “differentiating themselves from the crowd” and thus making themselves more employable in the corporate world. This, he said, was quite possible at ABS which has a dedicated Centre for Skill Development (CSD) that will “provide you a mirror for yourself and help you introspect who you are and also help you develop those required skills during the course duration.” But, the best results will come “only when you own your own self and be responsible for yourself!”
